The Ryan Blotnick Band performs two sets of music.

The first will be the improvising duo Fishblot, celebrating the completion of their album Small Talk for the Buenos Aires-based ears&eyes Records. The duo touches on jazz, chamber music, and the unknown as they navigate uncharted waters.
The second set is a trio featuring the members of Fishblot with the addition of 16-year-old wunderkind Treyan Nelson. This new group incorporates keyboards, electronics and found percussion into a bass-less jazz trio setting.

Composer and guitarist Ryan Blotnick is a Maine native and graduate of the Maine Jazz Camp. He has toured and performed widely in Europe and the US. Ryan has released several albums, most recently Kush in 2016. His own compositions draw on an eclectic mix of genres and display a rich understanding of harmony and lyricism. Ryan has been called “a vital contemporary voice” by Time Out New York, and “an authentic, compelling player” by Cadence Magazine.
New York native Danny Fisher-Lochhead is a saxophonist and composer and has released five records as a leader or co-leader. He performed and recorded widely in New York with several independent groups, and also his own large-scale compositions with The Danny Fisher-Lochhead Large Ensemble. Danny is currently a Maine resident and performs widely throughout the state.
Treyan Nelson is a 16-year-old musician of outstanding talent. He is a drummer from Mount Desert Island and has won numerous musicianship awards.
