Kimberly and Robert Lehmann perform their Noonday Concert online, featuring duets for violin and viola.
The Lehmanns have performed duo programs all over New England, Mexico and Europe, and have performed the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante with various orchestras and have a invitation to perform the Bruch Double Concerto in Europe this summer (fingers crossed!).
Kimberly Lehmann received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Music in Violin Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music. She grew to prefer the deep, mellow sound and chamber music repertoire writeen for that instrument. She is a member of the Portland Symphony Orchestra and on the faculty of the Portland Conservatory and the University of Southern Maine.
Robert Lehmann is Professor of Music and Director of Strings Studies and Orchestral Activities at the University of Southern Maine School of Music where he conducts the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra and the Portland Youth Symphony Orchestra.
