Cellist, John Bennett, is very interested in the parallels between playing the cello and singing. He will show how using the bow is like both singing vowels and articulating consonants and will demonstrate with the vocal and dance music of J. S. Bach.
John has taught cello to students of all levels and ages in his private studio and led workshops and cello ensembles for over 20 years.
He was a cello instructor at Pacific Union College and the Paulin Center for the Creative Arts, and performed with the Vallejo and Napa Valley Symphonies, as well as chamber music and duo recitals.
His greatest love has always been helping and guiding students of all ages and levels achieve their musical goals.
