Ox Ox is a quintet comprised of vocalist Priya Carlberg, saxophonist Raef Sengupta, guitarist Magdalena Abrego, trumpeter Alex Quinn and bassist Julian Weisman. This group strives to bring new genre combinations to the community through the performance of original compositions and re-interpretations of compositions by some of their musical heroes, such as Annette Peacock and Carla Bley. They strive to highlight all of their individual interests and strengths to form their unique voice.
Close Body Talent is the unified mouthpiece of four distinctive young songwriters with intersecting musical tendencies and illustrious methods. The band is split evenly between Western Massachusetts and New York City. The songwriters are (L-R) Nick Bisceglia (bass, keys), Wendy Eisenberg (guitar), Calvin Grad (drums), and Jake Lichter (keys, bass).
